I have myself to blame here, yet I can't really. I'd be lying if I said I'd know for certain,\u000aafter all it doesn't make much sense: They most likely have a more\u000atroubled life than I have. I was gifted luxuries in life they don't\u000ahave access to, and yet I'd like to be them? It's quite ironic since\u000aI know quite a few people would like to be in my place, but I'll tell\u000ayou something: It ain't great. Perhaps I'm longing for the issues\u000aI didn't face in life. That and the fact I'd really wish to have grown\u000aup in an average monolingual household. Instead I've grown up to be\u000abilingual; now I'm trilingual thanks to the internet. For many that\u000amay seem like a boon - for me it is a curse. Perhaps future me will\u000aappreciate the sacrifices I have to make today? I hope so.\u000a\u000aIt could of course also be possible that I'm not looking up to them\u000abut that I'm confusing emotions there - perhaps it's friendship -\u000aperhaps more.
